Backpacks, Books, and Bubbles: Supporting Growth for Kids and Fish!

My Project

My students are an incredible group of curious and compassionate learners. They thrive in hands-on, interactive environments where they can explore and connect with the world around them. Each of the items I’m requesting will directly support their growth, both academically and socially, while fostering a sense of responsibility and care.

The fish tank items, including Mopani wood, a hobbit house, and a Groot-shaped bubbler, will enhance our classroom aquarium, which serves as a calming sensory tool and a teaching resource.

Students will learn about ecosystems, biology, and environmental stewardship while taking turns caring for the fish. The drawstring backpacks will ensure that students are prepared and organized for field trips, providing them with a sense of independence and readiness. The “Growing Up” books will support our students with special needs as they navigate the challenges of puberty, offering valuable information in a relatable way.

My goal for this project is to provide engaging, meaningful resources that support my students' academic and personal growth. They are special because of their curiosity, creativity, and resilience. Your support will help us create a classroom environment that nurtures learning and life skills, helping my students grow and thrive!
