Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

First graders are not new to school and routines; however, they still need our help to organize their belongings safely and effectively.

These storage units will help my first graders have a safe place for their backpacks!

Currently, we have hooks. Some hooks are plastic and have broken. The others are metal, but are so close together that they would get SO frustrated that they couldn't get to their backpack because it was covered by two others above theirs. It honestly takes more time than it should out of our instructional day.

The cubes would house 24 backpacks, and they would each have their own slot! What a lifesaver for my students and myself!
