My Students

I teach over 400 scholars, grades K - 6, and each one is filled with so much potential.

I love teaching music and watching my students be creative, express emotions, and build positive relationships. Many of my scholars come from broken homes and challenging living environments, but they are all hungry for love and learning. In my music classroom, I offer the space for kids to be themselves while developing their talents and expressing their creativity. I want my kids to have the best opportunities possible to develop their full potential.

My Project

Our music room has undergone a lot of positive changes in the past year, and students are loving the new resources we have received from donors so far! However, we still have a long ways to go to become a "fully stocked music room". This request includes a music stand, colorful scarves for movement and dance pieces, some printing materials for more worksheets and posters (my students have really been benefiting from getting colored worksheets!), and an 8-tier organizer for 3rd and 4th-grade students' recorders.

A well-organized classroom is a huge part of every student's success, and my aim is to have a fully stocked and organized music classroom to give students access to the best possible education.
