Help me give my students some basic essentials to help us through the year.

My Project

My class includes 26 third grade students from diverse backgrounds. About one-fourth of the students speak English as a second language and the majority of students come from low socioeconomic backgrounds. Despite these differences, all my students come to school each day ready to learn. The smiles on their faces and the excitement in their voices show me how ready they are to do their best! As an educator, my hope is to create learners who are curious about the world around them, who are excited to take on challenges, who are willing to take risks, who are resilient and flexible in the face of failure, and above all, treat others with kindness.

Please consider helping my students with necessary items, such as Expo Erasers, card stock for art, tape for their ripped papers, pencil charms to keep their pencils from rolling onto the floor, sidewalk chalk for recess, and headphones with speakers so they can practice oral fluency.

The supplies that will be funded through this project will give my students the tools they need to stay engaged and ready to learn in the classroom.
