My Students
My students are often unable to purchase the basic school supplies.
I teach 4th grade in a Title 1 school in Texas, where more than 90% of the students receive free or reduced lunch.
My students are excited about school and try to capitalize on every learning opportunity, but they often come to school without the basic learning supplies.
My Project
The resources that I am requesting in this project will provide my students an opportunity to complete hands-on projects, such as, foldables and drawings that help students make connections and demonstrate their understanding of the concepts being taught.
Your contribution to this project will provide an array of opportunities for my students to focus on their learning without having to worry about the supplies that their families are unable to provide.
