Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Please help give my students some essential art and school supplies, such as pencils, colored pencils, watercolors, scissors, glue sticks, pencil boxes, binder clips, and dry-erase boards to help them enter the new year of 4th grade. All students will receive these supplies to help keep the classroom environment equitable. We do a lot of art projects in our class, and the kids need to provide their own colored pencils, which many cannot do. This project will help make sure all students have the colored pencils they need to do their very best work. Watercolors are also so much fun for them to use on STEAM posters and other art projects. They need these materials to enhance their learning opportunities.
These materials will help me provide art and school materials to my students that many of their families cannot afford.
My students love to learn and will be ready for success with these new supplies. School should focus on learning, too often kids don't have the supplies they need to be ready for the school day. We will use the materials to stay organized and do art projects, writing, math, STEAM projects, and more! They will use their dry-erase boards to work out problems, plan projects, and do math intervention activities. Basic supplies don't always seem glamorous, but they are needed! We will also use the laminating machine to preserve some of their best artwork for display and to send home to families. Thank you for being so considerate.
