My Students

I teach in a Title I school that is located in a diverse, low socio-economic neighborhood in the Bay Area. I have 25 eager to learn kindergarten students this year. Kindergarten students are enthusiastic and excited to learn. My goal is to provide them with a safe environment that foster a love of learning and a wide variety of skills and knowledge.

Kindergarten students love to explore, discover, and be creative and we need the proper supplies and materials to keep them fully engaged in their learning, while also being as safe as possible.

I want my classroom to be equipped with all of the materials necessary for my students to have fun while learning and be successful in all that they do.

My Project

In the first few months of school, classrooms are often in need of basic supplies. Now that Fall has begun we are planning to do a lot of fun and exciting crafts for our new season. In order to do those projects my students need pencils, paint, and tape.

With school budgets not being finalized and receiving zero funding so far this year my classroom is in need of some of the basic supplies to function, such as pencils for little learners.

My students absolutely love to see their work on display in our classroom and with these basic classroom supplies I will be able to provide them with more opportunities to create art and put it on display.
