Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are a great bunch of fourth graders that are ready and excited to learn. My students are ESOL learners as many of them are from various countries and speak various languages. Most of them are from immigrant families and many of them qualify for free and reduced lunch.

They are excited to be back to school to socialize and engage in learning with their peers.

We just need a little help to clean, create and organize our classroom environment.

The materials will help to refresh our learning space in and around the classroom. The cleaning products will help to clean the class library as we have returned to having books in the classroom. The air freshners will help to keep our room smelling inviting. As there will be 3 Mods this year, the Clorox wipes and cleaning solutions will support us during transitions to minimize germs on the desk and cubby areas. The snacks will help to fill of Treasure Box for the students as part of our Positive Behavior Intervention System(PBIS).
