This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The school year is coming up quickly and we are in need of some supplies to ensure the start is smooth and fun for our incoming kindergarteners! The Teachers Pay Teachers gift card will be used to provide supplemental activities and materials for the students. Being that we are an inclusion classroom, there is a need for differentiated work in order to meet the needs of all the students. The black mesh bags will be used for students to store their headphones at their tables and will keep the headphones secure and safe. We are also requesting a paper cutter to alleviate the need for students to cut so much. We are also requesting materials such as chalk, and a set of swing and catch cups for students to participate in engaging gross motor activities. We always start the year off learning about personal space, and refer to it as a "bubble." I'd like to make that come to life with a bubble activity, so I have requested bubble mix, wands, and soap to ensure that the students have the materials to successfully make giant bubbles!
