This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I teach 4th grade mathematics in a low income area of the city. Most of my students have very limited resources.
Most of my students start the year with no supplies at all. This has a big impact on how their school year starts.
I need some basic supplies such as pencils, homework folders, and easel pads. This will ensure that they will have all the supplies they need to start the new school year.
By providing my students with these basic supplies, you are ensuring that their year starts on a positive note.
