My Students
In the art room, every child in the school is given the opportunity to activate their imaginations and create with their hands. My students have shown a true passion for drawing and painting and need the paper supply to support and encourage their love of the arts!
My students range in age from 1st-5th grade and live in a rural area.
One of the things that makes our school so wonderful is that we have a very diverse student population. Our students are compassionate, smart, imaginative, and curious about the world around them. They are active learners who like to engage in hands on activities like the visual arts!
My Project
Students will use the paper to complete large drawing, painting, and collage projects throughout the entire year. In our art room, it is essential for students to learn to work on projects and ideas for multiple class settings. I want my students to create large and intricate works of art so they learn the importance of perseverance. By making large multiple week projects, students have to revisit and rework their ideas. This is a valuable skill in the art room, and an essential skill in life.
