Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The materials donated through this project will be used to set up Interactive Science Notebooks for my 7th grade Science students as well as my Marine Science students and will be used daily to maintain their notebooks.
An interactive notebook is a tool students use to revise their thinking and to deepen their understandings.
Last year, students created scientific models, recorded data, and took notes in their notebooks. They proved to be a powerful tool to teach students how to maintain and organize content.
Additional supplies requested, such as a a filing crate, electric sharpener, pencils, and disinfectant wipes will help replenish basic classroom supplies and kick start a new school year. Thank you.
