This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Every day, my students start off in our gathering circle. After they take care of housekeeping, we come together to discuss what we will be learning about today. They can't wait to start the fun learning. This is our motto: Listen, Think, and Try! My students work hard every day and they are super eager to learn.

My students come from a variety of backgrounds.

They range from students who are learning the English language (ELL/ESL students) to ones who are special education students and everyone in between. The community is very supportive of our school, and we work to meet the needs of all our students.

My Project

Kindergarten is the start of learning to read, write and learning to get along together. I love to have the students create using cutting and gluing activities. We will use the scissors to create art and practice concepts we learn.

Having these basics will help my students be prepared to learn from day one.

The composition books will be used for writing our letters and numbers. They will practice to learn to write their name. As the year progresses they will write sentences to go along with their illustrations. Your support is greatly appreciated!
