Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Being able to keep up with classroom supplies is often hard as a teacher, especially at the secondary level, where we see roughly 150 students per day.

By helping with my project, Back to School Supplies, you are not only helping give these students critical supplies (such as pens, pencils, dry erase markers, etc.) that we use DAILY, but you are also helping me build positive relationships with students through positive reinforcement.

Many students are motivated by prizes, snacks or some type of treats. It often helps morale and participation in class when there is a reward at stake. By providing items such as chips, granola bars, fruit snacks and cookies, it helps me engage their attention through positive reinforcement, while simultaneously building relationships (Because who doesn't love a yummy treat?)
