Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our students inspire us every day! Even during these unprecedented times, they always are so eager to come to our class and are excited to learn new things.

My class consists of 10 amazing three- to five-year-old special needs students.

We are looking forward to an exciting new year in 2021-22!

My Project

With social distancing still a factor when school starts, my preschool special education students will need individual supplies to help express their social emotional learning and make math fun. The dry erase storyboards are a great way for them to draw how they are feeling and share with the class. Also, the magnetic ten frames and colored markers are a wonderful tactile math manipulative to help introduce counting and numbers.

Social emotional learning is very important especially during these times.

These storyboards are just a start to helping them express their feelings.
