My Students
Loving, caring, passionate about learning...these are just a few words that describe my amazing fourth graders. These children have a passion for life and a love for the world they live in. They are always first to lend a hand or encourage a classmate.
At school, our class is like a family, and throughout the year, we get the chance to learn and grow from one another.
Many of my students come in each year far below grade level in reading and math. As their teacher, I want to make sure they have access to the best resources possible that can help them achieve their goals and feel like empowered learners.
My Project
In September, we are expected to have a full return to school for the first time since March 2020. Due to Covid, community supplies are not a safe choice right now. Each student needs to have access to supplies that will help them learn throughout the day.
With your help, I will be able to create a pencil box for each student filled with all of the goodies they will need.
Some of these items include colored pencils, crayons, pencil sharpeners, and eraser caps. When the students enter the classroom on that first day, they will immediately have something that is just for them to use. This way we can begin learning and keep everyone safe at the same time!
