This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I currently have a classroom with 12 children who have moderate to severe autism. They are experiencing speech delays, developmental delays, and social skills delays, and some have co-occurring health conditions and behaviors which can impede learning as well. Since we are a preschool, students join us when they turn three.

Our students love to play, create, dance and sing.

They are vibrant people who are carefully finding their place in the world. We need a variety of sensory, academic, speech and social opportunities to allow our students to be successful.

My Project

Hi! Thank you for stopping by our project. We are working to make crafts and supplies for our students. The paper cutters will allow us to make supplies, the paintbrushes will allow our mini-Picasso’s to come to life and the laminating makes us able to create learning opportunities! We are learning from home but we still need these materials to have our best learning opportunities. Thank you so much for stopping by our project and please have a look around!
