Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I enjoy working for a Title I school in Las Vegas and especially with third graders in a departmentalized public school. It is exciting to see many students returning to school with great smiles and ready to face a challenge. However, not all students have the same resources and I need to supply those items to ensure that every student has what they need to begin working.

I am in need of construction paper, dry-erase markers, and snacks just to get started.

It is important that we develop a rapport and students feel comfortable working with their peers.

I am excited to begin my 11th year teaching and my third year teaching third grade. I can't wait to meet all my students.
