Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

First graders in my room are curious, imaginative, and eager to learn. This is the year they learn to read, and they get to spend their day engaged in exciting projects and learning activities with their friends. These amazing little people are also emerging bilinguals and work hard to learn their grade level material as they also learn to speak, read, and write all in English! We are in a Title I school where all students in my class receive a free lunch.

No matter what their circumstances are at home, all of the students in my classroom get to have quality materials and a great place to learn.

Help me give these amazing kids pencils, dry erase markers (they each already have a mini white board), new pencil cases, a folder to take home daily with their amazing work, and play doh that they will use in every subject from science to reading! You can make a difference in how we start our year! Thank you in advance for supporting these amazing kids!
