My Students

I am a teacher of the best grade in the world…Third Grade!! They are up against some hard challenges during this pandemic. I am so proud of how brave and willing to learn they are. They are always striving to be the best kids they can be. They are leaders who plan on leading the world in a great direction someday!

I have 25 hardworking and enthusiastic learners in my class.

They put so much energy into everything they do. It brings a smile to my face to see them engaged and wanting to learn.

My Project

Starting the school year with COVID-19, still hanging in the air, is a little unsettling. Some scientists have said that the benefits of having windows open or utilizing an air purifier can help prevent the spread of the virus.

As we head into this new and unpredictable year, I would love to provide my students with a safe environment.

This air purifier would benefit my students in so many ways since I don't have windows that open. I can have cleaner air, which will help my students feel like they are safe and healthy. The headphones and privacy offices allow each student to have their own learning area and tools to be used throughout the day. Students will feel more secure with their own equipment. I am also excited to read the three new books to my students. These books will give them insight into this pandemic and the importance of wearing a mask while building a safe community. Lastly, the face shields will allow students to see my mouth and facial expressions while I am teaching at a safe distance. This will help with quality instruction and learning. These tools are essential to begin a safe and healthy school year.
