it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Studies show that children having school supplies of their own can improve grades, creativity, attitudes towards learning, behavior, peer relationships and self-image. School supplies help pave the way toward academic success by providing children with the tools they need to begin learning on the first day of school.
Not every student has equal access to supplies, books, and other materials at home.
Every student should have the same opportunities for success in the classroom.
Providing students with pencils, folders, glue sticks, and scissors helps provide them with the basic supplies needed to succeed without adding the financial burden on the child and family.
