My Project
Preschoolers are so excited to be a big kid, ride the bus, and start school. Their classroom will be their home away from home for the next ten months. It is my goal to make them feel welcome and part of the classroom from the first day! I like to welcome them with all of the supplies they will need for writing and taking papers home as well as labeling all of their things with laminated name tags and magnets to take home.
A welcoming environment that includes students' names and pictures makes the student feel like the classroom belongs to them too and is a safe place to be!
Folders will be used to keep important papers safe and handy while going back and forth between home and school. Spiral notebooks will become journals for students to express their creativity and practice fine motor skills. Watercolors are a class favorite for our art station.
