My Students
I have 23 amazing students who are part of in-person learning. I love how they all make the effort to come to school each and every day. We are all looking forward to better times but aren't forgetting to make this time the best and most memorable.
My students are very special because they have unique situations in their homes.
I would like to have supplies ready for upcoming September when everything will be a bit normal. Parents have been hit the hardest during Covid—it's bad enough they have to work extra hard to put food on their tables and now to have to buy supplies is really challenging for them. I want my students to be ready with tools that will help them flourish in their education.
My Project
The resources for my project will guide children to be confident learners and to be able to tackle the learning gap due to Covid. They will get the opportunity to learn and practice at school and at home. My students will benefit tremendously from these hands-on tools. They will continue to get the practice they need in applying the skills they are learning in the classroom as well as at home. Due to Covid, the learning gap has increased and has our children longing to get back in school and get back into learning with their peers.
