Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Students at my school are inquisitive, compassionate, and creative. The students in my classroom are from a low socioeconomic background benefiting from our Dual Language program at SCS. My students have the opportunity to learn English and Spanish. Students participate in other extracurricular activities such as, Art, Music, Capoeira, tennis, and swimming. Students learned through projects and field trips experiences. My students are energetic, and curious kindergartners who are just eager to learn and explore our Dual Language classrooms.
My Project
As we get ready to go back to school, I am preparing on how to keep my students safe, and engaged as they learn both, while at school and while at home. My students would benefit from having their own materials to use at home and in school.Unfortunately, these are times in which students cannot share classroom materials. Therefore, I really need to make sure that each and every one of my students have their own labeled school supplies to work at home as well as to work at school.
