Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Next year we are expecting approximately 100 students for the 4th grade. I teach in a low-income area where my students are sometimes not able to afford the essential materials that are needed for them to start the year off well prepared. This project will provide my students with notebooks for ELA and math, pencils, crayons and pencil pouches to keep track of their belongings. By giving my students these materials, it helps provide my students with equity and ways to help my students stay organized for the school year.
