Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our school is filled with delightful, highly energetic, and eager students who are ready to learn and achieve. Over 85% of our students come from low-income families. We are a Title I school where one hundred percent of our students receive free meals. Our economically
disadvantaged students do not all have the same opportunities at home and need to be exposed to a variety of learning environments.
These supplies will be great at helping both the student and teacher use their time effectively. Water bottles will provide opportunities for students to stay hydrated throughout the learning day, stickers make a fun incentive to decorate student water bottles and a special way to earn stickers, pre-sharpened pencils save time in the classroom.
