Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am so excited to start my second year of teaching! This year, I will have 19 incredibly smart 2nd graders from Honduras, Mexico, El Salvador, and other Latin American countries.
With your donation, my students will have access to essential classroom supplies which include pens, pen holders, erasers, dry-erase boards, fidget toys, etc.
These will be used on a daily basis for all subjects.
Items such as folders, book display stands, whisper phones, and the magnetic wand will be used specifically for our literacy blocks (phonics, ELD, and reading and writing workshop).
Remaining materials such as the Sterilite boxes, caddy, and shower curtains will be used to store student supplies in an organized fashion as we don't have supply closets with doors.
