Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As a first year teacher, I am starting from scratch as I build a classroom full of supplies. The materials and supplies that I am requesting for my students will be used throughout the year to help them be successful and promote a year of growth. The small notepads will be used each day during math as vocabulary journals. The writing supplies such as the red and black pens, highlighters and permanent markers will be used during writing and reading activities to help students revise their drafts and take notes when reading. Students will use highlighters when analyzing different texts to find important details. The paper, three hole punch, folders, glue and other supplies of the sort will be used by the students, so that they may create interactive science journals and other classroom projects.
