Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Second grade is the best grade to teach. The students are energetic, excited, and eager to learn. Each day they arrive at school waiting to absorb the content being taught. It is important that these activities are rigorous and engaging. Hands-on materials are necessary for active participation.
With most students in low-income housing, it is crucial to give them the tools they need to be successful whether they're engaged in live or remote learning.
My students have many different learning styles due to their various cultures and backgrounds. It is imperative to give them every tool they need to be successful as most students learn differently. Hands-on materials and various literature will help them stay engaged and expand on their love of learning.
My Project
My project will be used to help students transition back to school. Students will need individual bins to keep their daily items. The baskets will help students organize their belongings safely.
My students are eager to return to school and the supplies in this project would make their transition seamless.
Students will be able to use their daily bin to store their materials. The headphones will be used for students to work on their IPads. The cleaning wipes will help them stay germ free throughout the day! My students and I would love your help funding our project!
