Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I would like a set of multicolor clickable pens so students can solve math problems in different colors. They can represent their counting collections during math by choosing the color of their objects or to differentiate the groups. The composition books will be the perfect size for dictation lessons. The rest of the materials like laminating pouches, dot stickers, and pencil pouches will support daily classroom routines and help keep our materials organized. The dot stickers will help label our library by language. This will help students find books in English or Spanish with greater ease. These resources will help students meet first grade standards and support students in the class and at home.
