Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I am a first grade special education teacher in an ICT classroom. My students are diverse, loving, caring, curious, and eager to learn! My students come to school each day with a smile on their faces and ready to learn. My classroom is an authentic, safe, and welcoming place where all are welcomed and accepted.
My Project
Due to the pandemic, many students need additional support in literacy and math instruction. These materials will help my students take part in literacy and math centers. In addition, this help me add materials to my FIRST classroom! September will be the start of a new and hopefully normal school year. These materials will bring back a sense of in person learning and provide my students with an incredible year in the first grade! First grade is a special year and I look forward to seeing smiles on my students faces again.
