Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are full of life and so ready to get back to learning in person! I have 15 students in my 4th grade class who truly love learning. Throughout this pandemic, they have remained positive and enthusiastic about learning. They work hard every day and have consistently overcome the many daily challenges that come with online learning.

My students are some of the most resilient, enthusiastic kids I have ever met!

Their excitement and dedication to their learning is admirable, and I hope to continue to meet their needs as we return to in person learning.

My Project

We are heading back to in-person learning! We are very excited, however in order to follow social distancing protocols, we need supplies that accomodate this kind of in-person learning. With distancing protocols, these supplies will support students' independent work in class.

Headphones and mice will support my students in their independent work while we are in person.

This way, I can still have students listen to recorded lessons, record explanations of their work, and potentially even hold Zoom groups to support students at their level.

I have also listed a headset and speaker so that I can ensure my voice and instruction reaches all students in my classroom. With distancing guidelines, the voice amplifier will enable me to reach all students since movement in the classroom is limited. The microphone and speaker will allow my voice to be heard no matter where I am or the students are in my class.
