My Project

It might not seem like a big deal, but having Kleenex boxes in the classroom really matters. A clean classroom helps everyone stay healthy, and something as simple as a box of tissues plays a big role in that. When students have access to tissues, they’re less likely to use their hands or sleeves, which helps cut down on the spread of germs and viruses.

But tissues do more than just help with runny noses.

They also support students emotionally. Classrooms are busy, sometimes overwhelming places where kids experience all kinds of feelings. Whether they’re upset, anxious, or just having a rough day, a tissue can be a quiet way to offer comfort and show that it’s okay to express emotions.

Having tissues available and easy to grab teaches good hygiene habits and shows students that their well-being matters. It’s a small gesture that makes a big impact—both physically and emotionally. Stocking Kleenex in the classroom is an inexpensive way to help create a cleaner, kinder, and more caring learning space for everyone.
