Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Elementary students look forward to their library time, and to make this time even more special, I strive to create exciting and engaging activities that keep them actively involved in their learning. I incorporate a variety of approaches to maintain their enthusiasm, such as lessons I have gathered from Teachers Pay Teachers and simple craft activities. These resources not only make the experience more dynamic but also encourage students to take an active role in their learning.

Through these diverse activities, students are able to connect with the material in a more hands-on and creative way.

The incorporation of crafts adds an extra layer of enjoyment, allowing students to express themselves while reinforcing what they’ve learned. It’s clear that these engaging activities make library time a much-anticipated part of their day, as they look forward to new lessons and the chance to participate in different types of creative projects. By offering such a variety of learning experiences, I aim to make the library an exciting and enriching environment for every student.
