My Project

Currently, I teach 45 Civics students and 75 AP Government and Politics students. I try to keep my classroom as engaging and hands-on as possible. As such, I go through a lot of classroom consumables such as index cards, Post-it notes, and colored paper. My students use colored lined paper for bell-ringers and exit slips. They use Post-it notes to make connections between key concepts and documents. They also use index cards to categorize evidence in support of claims.

These consumables are also used for Socratic seminar prep, reflections, peer edits, and so many other classroom activities.

I do my best to engage my students and make their learning fun. It is amazing to see how some colored paper, Post-it notes, or index cards can inspire students to do work and try their best.
