My Project

COVID 19 has taken away the opportunity for students to have academic conversations with their peers, speak appropriately and respectfully to both peers and adults and has discouraged any sense of pride in the quality of work that they complete. They have lost a sense of accountability.

Many come to school unprepared without materials as simple as a pencil.

They struggle to stay in their seats for even a few minutes at a time. The materials that I've requested such as the chair bands will encourage my students to stay focus in class, while enjoying their own privacy at times with the dividers. Headphones will help to diminish distractions. My students will be grateful for whatever donations they receive. Mahalo.
