Help me give my students some basic back to school materials to help us kick off the school year!
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Cala's classroom raised $226
This project is fully funded
My Project
I service students in grades K-second diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder that come from diverse linguistic, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds. Due to their diagnosis, many of my students are unable to communicate their wants and needs through verbal expression relying on nonverbal means such as gestures, visual symbols, eye gaze, etc. Despite the challenges my students face, they are always eager to learn.
The materials I am requesting will support my students' sensory needs and provide them with fun and motivating learning materials to help them achieve their goals!
Play-doh, fidget toys, and ABC Learning Locks are motivating materials to make achieving our goals fun! Laminating pouches provides durability to materials and allows for easier sanitizing of materials between each use. Post-it Notes and labels will be used to label student work and individualized materials. Folders will be a place to store student work for their end of year speech and language portfolio! My students and I thank you for your time and consideration in supporting our learning!
