My Students

I teach a range of learners in a Title I school. My classroom is only ELA and Social Studies so I have multiple groups of learners throughout the day. My students vary in their needs, abilities, backgrounds, and learning styles. Though they are all very different from one another, they share a commonality. They blow me away day after day with their willingness to learn and their desire to try new and hard things.

My Project

We need help restocking our classroom. I teach in Nashville, Tennessee. Not only were we impacted by the shut down like the rest of the world, but we experiences a devastating tornado just one week prior. We were out of school for two weeks before the pandemic forced us to leave the classroom.

We are out of so many vital materials.

We are in need of basic supplies like chairs, paper, markers, crayons, pencils, tape, and other office supplies. It is so important, now more than ever that my students have the items they need so we can get back to learning.
