Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students miss being in school. They are trying their best to do online work because they are eager to learn, and their parents try and support them as best as they can. They yearn for work that they can do with paper and pencil. I sent them home with a packet of work, and their math book, but after a month of Distance Learning they are running out of material to work on offline. I love how they are rising to the task and learning how to be more tech-savvy but it is important that students reduce screen time.

My Project

These workbooks can be used for the remainder of the school year to help make connections of any skills that may need review so that the school closure does not negatively impact in the next following year. There are easy to understand directions for my students and skills in both ELA and math.

These books paired with my online Video instruction will help provide a semblance of what school life was like before in a school setting.

Right Now students need to be comforted and the comfort of learning and doing work with a paper and pencil seems so simple, but it is so valuable to them.
