My Students
My Prekindergarten students are highly motivated when it comes to learning, particularly at the beginning of the school year. By being able to provide activities that are hands-on and interactive -- yet safe and sanitary -- it will aide me in keeping them in that high energy, motivated state-of-mind all year long.
My Pre-K students are from a high poverty area of Michigan.
They typically come from single parent households where a large percentage receive most of their "extras" from exposure to experiences and adventures that come from within our Pre-K curriculum.

FIRST and FOREMOST, I want to provide my Pre-K students with a learning environment that is clean and healthy.
Given the current state of COVID 19 and all its variants, I want my students to have their own, individual supplies and manipulatives needed to learn and grow. Children naturally tend to spread germs, so not only is daily cleaning a priority but PREVENTION is in order as well by keeping their work and play areas clean.
Therefore, by my students having their own supply bins, manipulatives won't be passed between them and it will allow cleaning and sanitizing to take place quickly and thoroughly. Also, a printer will make it easier to label and identify individual bins, supplies and manipulatives as well.
