This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

There is a large number of students at GPS who are parents undergoing financial need and that makes it difficult to purchase basic supplies for baby. Some of my students are parents and are unable to find a job due to school, parental responsibilities and other concerns.

It would be amazing to support my students with economic difficulty in providing them with baby supplies, baby clothes, diapers, wipes, etc.

It is more often than not that I encounter students who are parents or soon to become parents and find themselves unprepared to care for their young children. I would love to have support for students who are struggling with providing basic supplies for their children and newfound responsibilities.
