This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are the newest members of the education environment. They are eager to learn and are full of curiosity and surprises. My students ages are 0-6 months but they are ready to learn. Don’t understand estimate infants. They are vibrant, eager and determined.

My Project

In my classroom I teach infants from 0-6 months. These young minds are the most curious about the world around them. Utilizing the items I have selected, they will get vocabulary, literacy, language, sensory, and cognitive development. They begin to learn how to focus and use hand-eye coordination, reach for interesting things or familiar people. They’re eager to explore and learn about their surroundings. As the definition of cognitive development states “it is the learning process of memory, language, thinking and reasoning,” with your help, these items will meet their developmental goals. Thank you for your help!
