This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students enjoy reading, but they have a hard time staying in their seats. I have a few students who are very active and cannot sit still. Some students have actually fallen off their chairs because they can't stop fidgeting. I'm really lucky that no one has been seriously injured. My request for beanbag chairs will help solve this problem. Students can use these chairs during guided reading and silent reading time. Students will get to pick a chair and find a quiet place in the classroom to sit. They can lay out and focus on their reading. I will not have to worry about any students getting hurt.
These chairs will greatly improve my class in many ways.
The chairs will provide my students with a safe and comfortable environment to read. Thank you for taking an interest in my class.
