Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I have been teaching dance for 30 years. My speaker was stolen after attending the LAUSD Arts Festival on Saturday. I teach a variety of partner dances which are an excellent way to exercise and is perfect for social emotional health. I teach the Foxtrot, Swing, Cumbia, Salsa, and Country Western. We will use this speaker to practice outside and share our dances with our community. Please support our team we currently have 14 partners, but I also use it for culmination practice and outdoor physical education and team sports. We will use it to practice and for showcasing our dances to our learning community.
