My Students

My students walk into our classroom every day full of life, ready to learn, and excited for what is in store for them that day. I greet them everyday in Spanish.."Clase! Como estas usted? Estas listo a aprender?" which means "How are we doing today? Are you ready to learn?

My students live in a diversity urban suburban community.

Our school is a Mid /High concept. Grades range from 7th - 12th grades.

My students come from low-income homes, in which they face several challenges outside of the school setting. They are in desperate need of Spanish / English dictionaries. The goal i want to achieve with my students is to open their eyes to all possibilities available for them to be successful.

My Project

My students need the dictionaries to help them be successful in class. This year, my students will focus on a strong grammar base in Spanish. For example, when students do their individual class work after guided instruction. They will be able help each other with peer to peer interaction and use the dictionary as good resource.

The dictionaries will be a very helpful resource when the students have to complete assignments and projects.

Students will use these dictionaries to explore their ability to learn correct grammar structure in Spanish.

Dictionaries come in handy when students have to use them when writing sentences or paragraphs to look for words that they don't understand or know how to use correctly.
