My Project

My students are so intrigued by axolotls and have been asking for me to bring in one for us to have as a class pet for a couple of months (since I have them for pets in my own home).

I have been given approval from our principal for this unique and exciting pet, but our new axolotl friend will need some supplies to make the school their new home!

These are the basic supplies that our class axolotl will need to thrive in a happy and loving environment. The students will learn what it takes to care for a pet. In addition, they will learn about limb regeneration as this little guy is a rescue that is regrowing a limb and all of the unique scientific knowledge that an axolotl brings.
