Help me give my students Osmo Genius Starter Kits, an OSMO Creative Kit, and OSMO cases to offer an exciting new way to practice literacy and math skills.
FULLY FUNDED! Mrs. Piskie's classroom raised $596

My Students
I teach 17 kindergarten age students who love school! Most of my students come from low to middle-income homes, and with cuts to funding, there is not money in our budgets for anything outside of basic supplies. I strive to give them the loving, supportive environment that they deserve while they are in my care so they can have the best chance at growing, learning, loving, and just being kids with no worries! They are amazing and make me strive to be the best educator that I can be.
My classroom is full of students from a variety of backgrounds and households but when we come together we are a family who grows and learns together.
My Project
I have had the opportunity to expose my students to a variety of OSMO activities this year and they love them! Osmo is an award winning educational game system and I want to be able to give the rest of our kindergarten classrooms the same opportunity to learn through them. Our students can use the OSMO Genius Kit during their differentiated learning stations- WIN (What I Need). Each activity offers different levels so it can meet the students needs and they can practice the skill(s) that they need. The Creative Kit will give students the chance to dive into their creativity during their discovery time. The storage containers will help keep the materials organized and allow the students to be independent in getting what they need.
This project will impact the learning of all kindergarten students in our school.
Osmos are so cool! They enable the iPad to merge the power of physical play with the digital advantages of real-time feedback. Playing beyond the screen invites students to collaborate on tables or floors while manipulating tangible game pieces such as number tiles, letter tiles, and tangrams.
Osmo supports the 4 Cs of the 21st century: Communication, Creativity, Collaboration, and Critical Thinking.
More than half of students from low‑income households
