Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Within my classroom of special students, we use a teaching method called the TEACCH Method. Also referred to as Structured TEACCHing, it is based on the unique learning needs of students with their unique needs, allowing them to focus on the learning task.
This teaching approach uses organization and supports in the classroom environment to help students learn best.
With this project, I will have the requested dividers that will support my students' learning by allowing our classroom environment to be physically organized and the visual structure of materials in tasks and activities divided to prevent distractions.
