Awesome Artwork But No Way To Share

My students need 20 poster frames so that our famous artwork posters can be both displayed outside our school library and used in classrooms to support our curriculum.

Artwork galore....But no wonderful way to both display and catch the interest of our students. I am the librarian in a school that is primarily lower income with a high level of non-English speaking students. Our students range in grade from pre-k to eighth grade. We are trying desperately to bring the arts into our school. Recently through a grant we were able to secure many posters of famous artwork. We would like to display them in a way that they can be appreciated for their beauty and also used in the classrooms to support our varied curriculum. The ability to frame them in poster frames will preserve their beauty. More importantly, displaying them will also give educators the opportunity to bring them into their classrooms to use them to support their curriculum.

Due to budget cuts, we are having difficulty buying the basics for our students. There is no money in our budget to purchase these much needed frames. By not displaying them , we are doing our students a disservice. By not protecting the posters, they are sure to be ruined.

We would like to move forward with using artwork in our curriculum and opening the minds of our students to other forms of learning. In order to move forward with this project, we will need 20 poster frames. This will benefit the entire school community. All students will have the ability to enjoy the artwork in the hallway outside the library and the art room. Teachers would be able to bring the artwork into their classrooms as well, to use during many varied lessons.

With your help my students will have the opportunity to explore many varied forms of art. I, as the librarian will be able to share my resources more effectively with the entire school community.
