Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My preschoolers need to express themselves through a variety of different modes and art is a great one! Students learn a lot through art: they can express their emotions, develop their fine motor skills, learn how to write, increase cognitive function, and they can just plain have fun.
The art supplies will help students in our low-socioeconomic classroom create illustrations based on books, begin inventive spelling, and be able to see their artwork hung in the classroom.
The rhythm sticks will engage their senses and help to calm their bodies in an age-appropriate way. The puppets will help students explore creatively and have conversations with friends to increase communication skills that have been delayed due to the pandemic. These resources will help ensure I am creating an engaging classroom to develop their critical thinking skills.
The triangle markers will help develop fine motor skills. The cardstock will provide for many craft and painting projects. Dry-erase markers are used daily when students sign in each morning. The TPT gift card will help to provide essential art and writing materials for students.
The paint sticks are truly amazing, and I can't wait to see all the creations with the watercolored pencils! All these materials will be tremendously helpful to my students in expressing their creativity. We are learning about Seasons, Earth, Recycling, and Gardening which all deserve the most vivid of colors, which these resources bring to our classroom.
My thoughtful and kind students love to create! This will put the biggest smile on their faces!
Whether creating art or a dramatic play, my goal for these resources will be to help develop their brain to boost cognitive function and problem-solving skills. I love having my students explore the world and grow their brains through creating!
